In late January 2024, Reiki received a major upgrade.
High Reiki is an enlightenment energy that considerably QUICKENS OUR PROGRESS. High Reiki is the next-level evolution of the Usui system — a higher-frequency transmission guided by Usui and grounded through our High Reiki Council over the past two years and made available now during this time of planetary expansion.
Usui’s initial teaching focused on deepening meditation and inner connection. The healing aspect was realised later. Yet all enlightened Masters heal automatically, their very presence radiating extraordinary energy, constantly performing incredible healings.
This system attunes practitioners to more powerful and more refined vibrations, supporting planetary upgrades and activating the light codes, consciousness, and embodied mastery required to walk the path of healing, love, and merging with Source, naturally radiating higher-dimensional healing on Earth.

High Reiki returns Reiki to Usui’s original spiritual intent — enlightenment. Healing is a natural outcome of alignment.
While the deepest spiritual initiations unfold at Master level, this path begins from Level 1, gently and progressively awakening higher awareness, integrity, and embodied light.

How High Reiki Began
During a Reiki Master training session held by Charmian Winser, participants were asked to prepare for an upgraded Reiki initiation. Charmian was shown that Reiki had now earned the right to spread wider and higher — that it needed to encompass the multiverse.
Charmian saw Reiki touching Source, who conveyed that the pain of 3D needed to be rewarded. This upgrade was shown to bring life into balance on a much higher vibration, clearing distortions and restoring energetic harmony.
Within days of this initiation, Usui emerged as a Seraph. All five present were invited to take this new High Reiki energy and give it to others, carrying it out into the world. All who have since received initiation speak of the depth, power, and clarity of High Reiki.
Usui is adamant that this is not a new form of Reiki, but an upgrade of the original system that was brought to the West by Hawayo Takata.
Level 1 courses starting March 2026
Rooted in Lineage, Guided Forward
Charmian Winser and Emma Penman are creating the High Reiki courses at Usui’s insistence. Charmian was trained by Masters one or two removed from Hawayo Takata, Emma was trained by Charmian, thereby retaining the purity of Reiki as it came from Japan, before it became blended with other systems.
Under Usui’s guidance, they have been taken back to his original spiritual mission, receiving:

High Reiki is brought to you through two experienced Reiki Master Teachers:
Charmian Winser — one of the first Reiki Masters in the UK completed in 1987, author of Reiki: healing energy for mind, body and spirit, and a founding member of The Reiki Association. Charmian has been initiated by Usui as the head of High Reiki, sharing this elevated energy and teaching alongside the High Reiki Council. Her decades of dedication and deep connection to the original Reiki lineage make her a profound teacher and guide.
Emma Rose (Penman) — Co-teacher and long-standing Reiki Master, Emma was initiated by Charmian in 2011 to continue the lineage and spiritual teachings received through their shared connection with the High Masters. With over a decade of teaching experience, she brings grounded presence and spiritual insight to her students. As part of the High Reiki Council, Emma has been devoted to anchoring, embodying, and sharing the High Reiki frequency since its conception.
Together, Charmian and Emma hold the field for this sacred transmission, offering this evolved, multidimensional expression of High Reiki and sharing it with others.
Guided by The Higher Realms
Both Charmian and Emma have held similar roles across multiple lifetimes, guiding and teaching energy, spiritual development, and high-vibrational practices. In this lifetime, they maintain deep connections with Source as well as Archangels and Ascended Masters, receiving continual guidance in their work. Together, they have been leading high-vibrational courses for many years, supporting individuals through profound phases of spiritual development and enlightenment.
High Reiki is fully guided by Mikao Usui, who has now revealed himself as a Seraph — a being of the highest angelic order and the Head of High Reiki. This sacred path operates under his direct guidance and is supported by a Seraphim council and Beings of the highest light, ensuring that every initiation, transmission, and teaching is held in purity, divine protection, and alignment with Source.
Through this divine guidance, students are lovingly led through sacred spiritual initiations — expanding self-awareness, embodying higher consciousness, and deepening into their spiritual mastery towards merging with Source.
